The future is built on the past
In September 1847 a series of stamps was issued in the British crown colony of Mauritius. Red for the one penny and blue for the two pence stamp. A legend was born.
In the same year Emil Theodor Gleitsmann launched his career in Germany - also involving inks for stamps. Ever since, the unique company of GSI Gleitsmann Security Inks has been working to make valuable items attractive and more secure.
